| If travelling from Stockport, head along the A6 towards Buxton. Carry on through Hazel Grove, High Lane and Disley. At the traffic lights in Newton bear left towards Hayfield and proceed down Alobion Road, turning left up Union Road, turning right at the top, continuing through the town centre, past the Town Hall and down Springbank. At the bottom of the hill and opposite 'The White Hart' public house turn left up Mellor Road. The turning on the right is Watford Road and Watford Hous is situated in its own landscaped gardens on the left hand side. | ||||
| If travelling from Marple Bridge take the main road through the village-towards Mellor and New Mills. Watford Road is on the left hand side of the road just before dropping down into New Mills. | ||||
