P&H Developments have been making calibration standard blocks for Electron Probe Micro Analysis (EPMA) and Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM's) equipped with Wavelength Dispersive (WDS) and/or Energy Dispersive Spectrometers (EDS) since 1990. Within this period we have supplied many of the worlds leading microanalysis laboratories. The method used to make the standards ensures that the best possible surface finish is achieved which is both flat and free from contamination. The Rare Earth Element (REE) glass standards and the glass standards for difficult elements were made by P&H Developments specifically for use as standards for EPMA. |
| Standards for Laser Ablation ICP-MS Analysis |
| These glasses were produced by P&H Developments at the request of many of the worlds leading Laser Ablation ICP-MS users. As the detection limit of the analysis technique got less it was recognised that standards of lower concentration (<100 ppm) were required. |
| Point Logger System for Cameca Electron and Ion Microprobes |
| The first point logger system was made in 1994 and eight systems are now in use throughout the world. |
